Richard Haney is a close personal friend and fellow Empath of Pamela Tanner. Richard has a thriving practice and is highly respected for his numerous writings. Richard travels all over the world, bringing back a wealth of knowledge to enrich the lives of all the people who are in his presence. He is truly an enlightened one, who embraces the human condition with grace and dignity. Richard's credentials are impressive to say the least.
Richard Merrill Haney, Ph.D. (Psychotherapy)

Ontario Qualified Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. 15 Year Member, Family Mediation Canada, Ontario Family Mediation Association.
Richard earned his Ph.D. in Psychotherapy (with a double major in Counseling and Mediation) in 1991. He had previously earned his Master's Degree in Counseling from Antioch U. at Harvard University in 1981.
His experience spans the social services, business, government and education. He has worked in the field of Counseling for 35 years and in private practice as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist for 20 years.
Richard has been trained in Jungian Analytic Psychology and in Ericksonian Hypnosis. These two training modalities are very complementary because they both focus on whole body-mind-spirit integration.
At Harvard University in 1998 Richard received training with Professor of Psychology Dr. Daniel Brown, who specializes in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. This was an intensive course on the several modalities and techniques of Hypnotherapy. It was sponsored by the Department of Psychiatry of the Massachusetts Mental Health Center.
In 1997 Richard received training in Regression Hypnotherapy with Dr. Brian Weiss, M.D., Chairman Emeritus at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
At Esalen Institute in California in 1999 and also at Omega Institute in New York in 1996 Richard received training with Mr. Mel Bucholtz, a specialist in the modalities and the hypnotherapy techniques of Dr. Milton Erickson. Mr. Bucholtz has been trained in residence with Dr. Erickson.
