The Human Spirit
When my light flickers faintly
Darkness ensues, blinding my way
Dimensionless souls embrace the melting of my resolve
Harnessed on the waves of love
Riding the currents of ageless streams
Of universal pondering and wonderment
Catapulted to the prolific, blinding
Light of the searing sun, of the noble son of all humanity
Sprouting wings of angelic reverence
Indelibly marking the essence of the lost fight to flight
The flight of grace, nobility and valiant swells of honor
Transcending honor from human pride
Knee bending humbling, head bowing acceptance
Surrendering in the purest, most high realm
Silent sighs, soul stabbing screams, piercing hole hearted knifings
To the sounds of airborne flight of uniform, unison serenity
Patterned rowing of wind filled flight
Soaring high above the vast cataclysmic mountains
Of knowledge and godly wisdom
Our airborne status awaits us as we lay dying to fly
As we keep fresh and bubbly the rush of our dreams
As we dare to fly back from whence we came
Fly home, fly high, fly forever, now and always
